Nilmini De Silva, A Gaggle of Geese (ANIMALS 2026)

I had a whale of a time photographing a gaggle of geese at Centennial Park over the spring of 2025. It was a wonderfully warm day, so watching their antics in the pool was especially fun. I have read that these are Settler Geese, one of the oldest breeds of geese although we are unsure of their origins. They are amazingly intelligent birds and breed for life although they do find other partners if they lose their mate.
