Ingrid Kuster, Feasting Galah (ANIMALS 2026)

I came across a number of galahs feasting on sunflowers located near the side of a country road. Fortunately, they were focused on the task at hand which gave me time get out of the vehicle and take some photos. I admired their agility, moving about the flowers, sitting atop of them and then hanging precariously from them and never seeming to miss a beat in pulling the seeds from the flower heads.
